Brady has started a new habit of saying a person's name three or more times when he is about to tell them or ask them something. We haven't really pointed it out to Brady, but we have talked amongst ourselves about how it is so annoying. After the first or second time, I usually respond with "Yes Brady", but he keeps going. It's like he is trying to think of what he wants to say so he fills in the gaps with the name. Apparently, Connor has also picked up on this annoying habit and called Brady out in the most amusing way. The conversation went like this at lunch today...
B: Mommy...Mommy...Mommy, I have to tell you something. Mommy...Mommy...did you know that I was playing trains upstairs earlier?
C: Brady...Brady..Brady...Brady
B: Stop it Connor, my name is just Brady. One time.
C: I was just doing what you were doing when you said Mommy...Mommy...Mommy.
I am still waiting for this new awareness of what he is doing to change the new habit.
